Warnings and review limits

  • Back up game saves and BepInEx/config/LethalCards sidecars before updating/removing. Interrupted or corrupt collection/grading writes can lose progress; invalid display rows may be skipped then overwritten. Preserve corrupt museum input files before repair.
  • The archive/manifest says 2.0.0, while plugin constants say 1.1.0; logs and the in-game version may differ.
  • Everyone needs compatible mod versions, BepInExPack 5.4.2305 and LethalLib 1.2.0. These separate dependencies were not reviewed. Other-mod or custom-ship compatibility is unverified.
  • Existing settings can survive updates. Debug logging enables developer test spawns; leave it off for ordinary play.
  • Static DLL and Unity-bundle review does not verify installation, rendering, network/save behavior or source-to-release reproducibility. Prototype/editor host references exist in the asset bundle.

What changes in Lethal Company?

Getting started

Back up game saves and BepInEx/config/LethalCards sidecars. Install official required BepInExPack5.4.2305 and LethalLib1.2.0. Extract official release BepInEx folder into game folder, retaining LethalCards.dll and lethalcards bundle together under BepInEx/plugins/LethalCards. Use compatible versions across the lobby; start with debug logging off and check retained config values.
