Warnings and review limits
- A custom or pack-provided cacheDirectory can cause automatic cleanup to delete unrelated files; use the dedicated default cache directory and back up game data.
- A malicious or compromised configured map provider can exhaust memory through unbounded HTTP/gzip responses or retarget unauthenticated tile GETs; no ordinary-player endpoint control was established.
- Permission-gated chunk repair can discard player-built chunk data.
- Exact JAR static assessment only; source-to-release build identity and runtime behavior remain unverified.
- Back up saves and game files before installing or updating.
